tegan phillion

bio

tegan first experienced massage as a child, an experience that ultimately ignited a fascination about the skin and human body that continues to this day. tactile and sense-oriented, she also possesses a strong sense of service to others. she is committed to lifelong learning, and continually engages in further education to satisfy her thirst for knowledge.

a licensed esthetician since 2006 and massage therapist since 2008, tegan was part of the opening team at the five-star spa at the mandarin oriental in boston. a registered yoga teacher since 2011, she studied in thailand, focusing on anatomy, physiology, alignment and how our everyday use and posture of our bodies dictates how we feel day to day. this helped further solidify her love for and intuitive wisdom of bodywork and yoga, and how complementary they are to overall wellness. in 2016, she expanded her teaching practice to include prenatal yoga. she loves teaching yoga and educating others about healing the body, mind, and spirit through bodywork and skincare. she is strongly committed to changing the perception of massage as a luxury to a source of dis-ease prevention through regular sessions.
